Leaver penalty in Mystery heroes?

I found thisabout leaver penalties in QP and ranked; Leaver Penalty on Overwatch 2 Account - Blizzard Support but is this there any leaver penalty for Mystery Heroes?

I am asking because I occationally have to leave games because of my baby. OW is one of those few games with short enough games for me to be able to get some games in when the baby has gone to bed for the night. However, it might still wake up sometimes. I am a social creature and don’t really do single player games, but if the penalty is too high I don’t really feel like ruining my account.

If it is only occasionally, you should be fine.

You have to leave a lot of games to get the XP reduction penalty. Like multiple in a day, a few days in a row.

It is still not clear if this counts for Mystery Heroes? I then assume that since it wasn’t spesificly mentioned in the link I provided, I can safely play MH without hurting my account. If anyone has found any clear info about MH and leaver penalty that would be appreciated.

At this point I don’t know yet how frequent it will be, as I just picked up OW again after I had the baby. I haven’t been able to play at all for a while, but the baby is now starting to gain a normal sleeping pattern so it should in theory be doable, with the occational leave. I had to leave once tonight, but it could have been twice. I got lucky the second wakeup happened just as we finished a game. If the wakeups were very unpredictable I wouldn’t be playing at all, but they might happen.

True. But it is more likely, being arcade, that it doesn’t.

My tip, just leave when you need to. You will get a warning when you are close to a punishment. So plenty of time to work round it.

In QP/arcade games it really doesn’t matter that much. You have to leave a pretty vast amount of games every night before a penalty would kick in. Before that happens, you will be put in a leaver status which is removed once you finish enough games. And even then, the only penalty would be an XP penalty - rather than in comp, you can get a ban to join competitive matches for the rest of the season. But even then it’s still only for competitive.

I played comp when the baby had gone to sleep. One time I had to leave because I started playing when I was home alone with her. She had a pretty good sleeping pattern, but exactly at that time, when my girlfriend wasn’t home, baby started screaming and crying - I left the game. The only time I intentionally left a game, and it was in competitive

it tells you when you’re close to getting it so if you go to leave and it doesn’t have the warning you’ll be fine
