Can we do something about people who’s leaving matches early?
Im really tired of winning a game untill someone drops out or just leave bcuz we lose the first team engage…
Wouldnt it be better if we raise the sr penalty for leaving a game?
Bcuz you shouldnt even search for a competitive game if your internet sucks or may crash since its 5 more peeps whos playing with you

People, myself included, feel pressured to play comp to get gold guns. I think you should just get a gold gun after a certain achievement. Ie. mercy got 20k heals or widow got 30 critical hits. I think people would play comp anyway though just for a title.
I’ve actually suggested a 25-50% increase in SR penalty from each still active player in the team to be added in these situations. I feel the harsh additional impact of SR loss would deter people from abusing it IF they were unwilling to return to play
Yeah a suggestion would be raise the sr penalty for these who drop out of a game about 40-45% and then cancel the match.
Make that you recieve a golden weapon when you have 40-50 hours of gameplay on a hero instead?
Getting sr deducted for something not involving your skill would make the game more unbalanced.
Leavers are already punished with suspensions of increasing duration. Eventually they get full season ban and after 3 season bans they get perma banned. The only thing we don’t know is the frequency of leaving that is tolerated by the system.
Too large SR penalties would be abused by smurfs who want to throw. They would also make the ranking system look broken as Atrophy mentioned.
If you disconnect rarely then leavers give you more SR gain than loss in the long run because there are only 5 slots in your team for a leaver while there are 6 in the enemy team. Leavers are simply annoying time wasters.
There is a good system in Heroes of Newearth, if you leave to many ranked games (I can’t remember how many but it’s like 3% of your total games) you can’t que up ranked at all until you have played so many unranked so your back at 97% “completed games”.
Yeah that would be a good solution to this problem imo, i just dont get how some people can be so tragic and play a game with one mindset: lose the game. Its patethic
