hoooly shift i lost 3 frkin rein ults to my mei in a single game… why cant we just get the ability to shoot/etc through it ?

You can shoot through friendly barriers etc, so yeah, i like the idea. Ive also lost lots of ults because our mei blocked it, but a shield doesnt block an ult so it would be a great change if the wall didnt block ults etc.

Not sure it would work although ‘seeing through them’ would be a nice change.
HOWEVER…
Ice Walls should Freeze wall-climbing Hanzos and Genjis. The fact that a friendly Ice Wall can be more of an obstacle for the Mei’s teammate than the enemy Genji is absurd.

Shields are not a good comparison. Opponents can walk through shields so there is counter play. Mei’s wall is a solid object, so to have the friendly team shoot through it whilst stopping the enemy even walking through it would be incredibly unfair.
I personally think the wall position indicator should be visible to the friendly team so they can at least see what the Mei player is planning to do.

Mei is a really powerful and impactful hero. She can stun enemy heroes with relative ease with her primary, survive through literally anything with Ice Block and completely deny the enemy team access to certain areas with Ice Wall. While most powerful heroes get offput by making themselves more vulnerable or requiring high amounts of mechanical skill, I don’t think it’s completely unfair that Mei’s downside is the fact that she can screw her team over too. It adds at least some semblance of skill to her.
So Mei will be a better Orisa?
Satan is broken without you proposed ability. Give that thing 200 more hp and move it into tank category while are u at it
