The idea is great, the controls are horrible.
- Why do I need to swap to another weapon instead of using right click?
- Why is dash not on space like on Hanzo but on shift?
- Why not put platform button on shift or swap with E instead?
- Why can I target/select people at 100% HP? Why not let me be able to heal those under 100%? It just clutters.
- Pull should be optional where player can press F or whatever if they want to be pulled.
Really cool hero and really stupid key mapping.
- That is probably clunky on purpose to compensate for the rest of his kit.
- Most characters dash on the SHIFT? How would you jump if dash was on SPACE?

- That’s just how the game works. Also, you shoot your heals so that person might not be 100% by the time your heal hits them? Finally, you have more than one ability that targets players.
You can customize controls per character and make him have whatever keybinds you want. In the settings menu, under the controls tab, before you make any edits, you’ll notice in the top-right corner a box that says “All Heroes”. Click the orange “Change Hero” button to select a hero, then you can edit that hero’s controls specifically.
Because sometimes you know someone is going to take alot of dmg soon? If we cant target people with full hp there will be plenty of people who will die before you will be able to switch to them again.
Also if you play on pc why not change your key mapping like you can in pretty much all games
Change the key mapping to suit you then. Problem solved.
The problem is that the problems can’t be fixed with key mapping as it is impossible to fix the clunkyness of lifeweaver with those options as you can’t fix the dash and the alternate fire.
In the workshop someone has made a game mode though that fixes lifeweaver by making his shift work like the hanzo one (double jump is dash), binding the lift to shift and turning right click into his alternate fire.
Link to video of how it works on the workshop mode
If making him less clunky to play (especially on console) is making him too strong they can always nerf his kit, but one of the most important things in OW is that the heroes feel good to play, and it just feels like you’re constantly fighting against the clunkyness as you play

1; It’s better to nerf the stats of a hero than to reduce the gameplay experience of a hero
2; As it would work like the hanzo jump, your normal jump would stay the same, only if you double jump you would activate the ability

4; I agree, your healing is a projectile so you can fire it to full health enemies, who can take damage which you can heal with your flower
