I was playing a competitive placement game of overwatch when my PC decided to interrupt the gameplay session with a trivial notification about a new driver to install or something (i didn’t have time to read it, just guessing it was that - also my settings have been set to not notify me during game but that’s a whole other issue aah) Having been booted out the game for this, I then attempted to click back on the overwatch icon so i was not removed for inactivity and my team penalised. However, my mouse was locked in to the middle of my screen and i was unable to rejoin overwatch, or do anything on my PC for that matter.
Upon speaking to many other players, they informed me that they have also encountered this mouse locking problem, so I am emailing to bring this to the attention of blizzard as it is a programming fault that should be dealt with in future versions of the game. Players are being punished for not being able to rejoin a game through no fault of their own.
