Waiting 20-40 minutes on average just to be paired with horrible teammates and get rolled by enemy team. No such thing as hopping on for a few games with friends - burn all my time waiting in queue. typing this as I wait in my second consecutive 25-minute queue
Literally cannot progress at all in rank. Relatively new to overwatch but it is as if the game is insisting that I be bronze/silver no matter what I do or how good I play. Then get placed in bronze but can’t get out because teammates are terrible, zero game sense, and sometime deliberately throw. Win one game, get 19% progress. Lose one game, lose 19-21%.
PLEASE FIX… it is virtually unplayable.

Bronze has one of the lowest player counts, so queues are going to be longer there.
That being said, 25+ minutes is ridiculous. But, then looking at the time of your post, you’re not exactly playing at peak hours.
So playing in a low population pool in middle of the night might be explain everything.
That’s because your rank is slightly higher than your MMR.
Seems to be the case with Blizzard games. Same with WoW as well. Badly mis-matched teams, broken MMR, long queues even though millions play it. I do hope they sort this out.
It does make you wonder how the queue times can be so big when they apparently have a big number of players, yet are still lacking the numbers of players on Steam.

Because the OP was queueing in bronze at 3am…
Where did the OP state that? They didn’t mention anything about the times they played. Why make such assumptions?
