Looking for Help

When Overwatch first came out I played a lot on console, but have started playing on PC recently. I don’t play a lot of FPS games, so WASD gaming with a keyboard and mouse are kind of new to me in general. I don’t intend to play competitively, but I’d like to be less bad, so I’m not always a drain on my team.

I’m looking for people to play with who might be interested in helping me get a bit better. I generally play support (Baptiste/Lucio mostly) or tank (Sigma/D.Va mostly). I know the biggest things I need to work on aim and positioning (especially on some of the newer maps). I also wouldn’t mind picking up some DPS, but I don’t tend to have the presence to carry that.

I’m an older player, so I may be a little slower than most, but I’m willing to put in some work to get better.

There are also quite a few gaming communities; I can recommend Serenity Gaming EU (they have a post in the LFP forum), I’ve joined a few years ago and I probably would have stopped playing without them.

Aiming isn’t as important in OW as it is in other games. Of course, if you want to play hitscans or widow, it’s important, but otherwise, there are other things that are much more important, like game sense and - as you’ve said - positioning. A good Reinhardt can carry a match, and he doesn’t need to aim at all.
