Lost account progress

Can’t believe my data didnt carry over despite having a blizzard account, been playing since 2016 just for all my skins to vanish along with my stats and now I have tounlock all heroes??? 150 games to get all of them and my main tank back is ridiculous

I accidentally linked my battle.net account to my Xbox live and I’ve also lost EVERYTHING. You found any solutions?

My OW1 progress was already linked to my battle.net on Xbox but ye I’m missing literally everything on OW2 wich is annoying

Im so mad, everything i had on my account is gone, i had everything for mercy and her gold staff… lots of cosmetics for other heroes…so much hard work and money spent, all gone im so disappointed

Same With me. All my gold guns are gone. ALL MY SKINS. EVERYTHING. How can I get it back? This doesn’t make any sense. This sh*T doesn’t happen on console. Save data is usually just moved normally. How is it that everything I’ve done since 2016 just GONE.

Same here all my skins golden guns and level, it’s wack more of a let down than anything to know all that time played was for nothing. Hopefully they fix this

1200 hours bye bye for me, if i really cant get it back i will never play overwatch again, or anything else from blizzard for that matter as anything you achieve will not be permanent i guess

I had the same happen to me. I assumed that my accounts were linked, but when I opened OW on my xbox today, the auto updtate took everything from me.
I don’t think i will continue playing if I can’t solve this.

Found no fix and it looks like devs are not even looking into this, such a joke of a company if they cant handle an account transition for whats essentially an UPDATE

Hi,

this is a known issue and is being investigated actively.

Known Launch Issues

  • Some players who merged their PC and console accounts are seeing an “Unexpected Server Error”
  • Some cosmetics, items, and currency that players own are not showing up in their collections
  • Some players are experiencing server disconnects

I hope so, rather not go through the new player experience to unlock heroes that were previously unlocked for everyone
