My pc is not very good and i can barely reach 50-60 fps (everything low and auto rendering which means 40-50%, depends on situation). I wanted to ask you if it is very necessary to get better hardware or i can still play and reach some good rank like diamond or why not master.

What I did before I got a gpu (was playing on my cpu’s inegrated graphics)
To get around 70 fps I minimised the game to about 1/3 of the size of my screen with all settings on low. I can say that playing the game like that is weird at first but you’ll get used to it.
Oh yea and a very important thing is that you lower your render scale to 50%-70%
That affects how the game looks a lot without compromising fps too much
in short no, i had friends reach both GM and or Global elite in CS with an average of around 60 fps.
Indeed it would be a good idea getting a small upgrade so you dont dip under 60 fps. Cause here it can actually hurt you a little. If you are around 50 fps + in very bad situations, it should not be on your priority list if you cant afford it.
Also the upgrade doesnt need to be anymore than a used gpu or cpu prob, should give you the push to 60+ average or more, but only if you can afford it.
What is your current resolution?
It matters more to have a decent internet connection with low ping especially if you play heros like widow or sombra where even a couple of mS makes difference. 2 widow try to shoot each other, player who has lower ping and send the command to the server first will get the kill. It was the same in all FPSes since the time begins. That is also why counter strike, quake and other FPSes are only played professionally on LAN.
1024x768 lowest possible
Only the lowest possible within the game’s selection but its not technically the lowest achievable resolution.
If you are willing to go through the trouble. Turn on borderless mode and change your current MONITOR resolution to the lowest possible. For example, the lowest res I can get on my monitor is 640x480. So that also reflects itself in the game. I;E I play on 640x480.

Now I do not know how powerful your PC is(nor will I find out because I suck at computer specs details) but if it was “new” before at least 2013 then you’ll probably have no issues with running the game at 60 frames with the suggestion I gave above.
I mean my PC was new 2000 and freaking 9 and it can with the “solution” above run almost any map in Overwatch(fullstacked teams. I;E a 6v6 battle) with at LEAST 40 frames in the heaviest of areas. Otherwise I’m on a clean 60.
So do give it a try and let me know how it went for you. BUT be aware of the insanely low graphical looks you’ll get. I mean the pixels are insane. But still playable
Well it’s a laptop from 2013-2014, worth 500 euros so its not that good for playing. Maybe i need to clean it inside.
Like i’ve seen players hit good rank with low end PC’s.
But ill say that you will enjoy the game more with a better PC.
For me having a good monitor is also a big deal especially for hitscan.
probably but my PC isn’t even close to being worth 500€(When I bought it brand new). So you should be good. At least a few more frames for you, should the method work.
