Lucio needs a damage buff

20 shots in a clip, each doing 16.5dmg. He needs to hit a full burst of headshots AND either melee or boop just to kill a baby D.Va. Besides, his gun shoots relatively slow projectiles that become difficult to hit against smaller targets.

For comparison, Mercy has a clip of the same size and does 20 a shot.

I mean i main Lucio, he is a healer, he is supposed to heal, thats why there are healers. If you wanna deal damage, then dps. I get what you mean, but ive seen good Lucio players in high diamond and oh boy they did more damage than a soldier. Lucio is in a good state (imo), he is a hero you need to learn to master him, wallrun/heal/damage, takes time to get used to.

Lucio 3/3 comps are the reason this game is bad atm.
So in what world do we buff anything in that comp?
Its a no from me on this topic.

I would agree if he didn’t also have the ability to knock people off of the map. A good Lucio on the right map can dominate.

Personally, he isn’t a strong or damage, he’s probably ranked 5th out of the 6 healers, he doesn’t heal very much exception of his amplifier and he can get a couple of hits here and there but I don’t know right now.

Ok then nerf his overly annoying boop and stupid wallride in exchange

Well, Lucio could heal instead of trying to dps all the time… it isn´t a dps char, it isn´t his main job and he is alrdy so damn good if u learn how to slide on the walls, almost impossible to hit while mercy is quite easy to take care of if she gets outside of a shield

5th best out of the 6 healers? Thats just undervaluing him. He’s arguably the 2nd best, after Ana and tied with brig, due to his big defensive ult that can start fights aswell. He provides great mobility for tanks in the Rein/Zarya meta and helps people avoid meta dps like doom and sombra to an extent. Lucio is in a perfect spot in my opinion, if you feel that he needs a damage buff then you don’t understand how he should be utilized

Everyone is whining about their own heroes instead of putting some work into learning how to play them, I know Rein has so many counters but Im not gonna whine about them because with a good team, the team behind the shield should know what to do and understand their part in the team

Like: Not thinking Lucio is a dps, but a healer and semi-support, if u also understand where to position urself behind tanks or walls and how to transition between different kinds of ways to play and know when to back off from a fight u are gonna do a fine lucio
