Since 14th November maintenance patch (roadhog rework) the game just 9/10 says “Failed to connect to server” and not entering game when queuing? There is no more warning message about any live maintenance when loading into Overwatch. anyone know how much longer the issue is going to persist? On console in EU servers.
Just now, my friend got a timeout for quitting a game where my session did not join with the same error message. Both on PC, I am on Steam and he is on the Blizzard launcher, and on EU server.
The issue where only some people out of a group got into a match was there before the patch.
Can’t recall if it was saturday or sunday, but that happened to me and my friend too.
We just didn’t get any error messages at all.
Me and my gf cant group. I get in but she cant. we game in the same apartment, same internet. she had lag which is new, i had not. does not seem like it will be any comp today. very sad i was looking forwards to it
I am getting the same issue playing overwatch on steam in eu every time I try to join game I get failed to connect. My friends are all still connecting an playing fine.
My friends and i try to play in quickplay to get better as a team however it keeps saying failed to connect to server . Comp works when we que but quickplay just gives the same error message regardless of who is leader and starts it.

They aren’t going to do anything about the penalties due to their failings. I made a ticket about it and they didn’t even read what I’d said. I just got a generic response about how these are the policies to keep the game fair for everyone else blah blah I didn’t even leave the game it wouldn’t let anyone join.

I’ve been disconnected three times yesterday. I couldn’t even join the game. I saw players messages in the game chat. But the button “REJOIN” didn’t response.
I’ve lost 7 hours and my progression in the ranked games. I suppose, that it would be fair to restore our progression. Because we was no able to join the game.
I had this fail to connect 3 time then went back on yesterday won my first match and ranked with 4 wins 16losses hows this even possible
