We need real collab events if the overwatch team is going to continue getting close with different brands. The recent collab with Porsche is such a waste: in the trailer you could see a car drifting and we even had a short cinematic. But when it actually was released we only had 60$ skins and meaningless challenges to fulfill. Just like cowboy bebop.
For the Sserafim’s collab, we had somewhat of an event where we were supposed to collect tickets. But that was basically a capture the flag/Roadhog pachimari event with extra steps. Considering you’re getting a good amount of money from that, you could try finding more original ideas, out of the frame of the game. It’d give some legitimacy to it.
