Marvel Rivals vs Over(cheater)watch2

Marvel :

  1. Anti-cheat launching with game.
  2. No cheater in-game after playing 7 hours.
  3. A lot of fun characters with cool mechanics.
  4. Can destroy/damage buildings
  5. Maps look more spacious, beautiful and realistic. You are able to climb, fly over the buildings. Which is very nice.
  6. Allows to complete previous battle passes at your pace.
  7. Very poorly optimazed, low fps , very damanding even for high end pc’s. (4k here) Cant get more than 70fps Ultra settings.
  8. Random pc freeze/crash during gameplay.
  9. Third person huge minus.
  10. Even bigger monetization with battle pass and cosmestics than overwatch2.

Overwatch2:

  1. Very well optimized
  2. Maps are beautifuls but lacking things from Marvel Rivals (5)
  3. High texture characters, visuals, design.
  4. Has a lot of cheaters, aimbotters
  5. No working anti-cheat
  6. Does not allow to buy/complete previous battle passes.
  7. Skins are top tier, but overpriced.
  8. Rigged matchmaking, forced 50/50

I fear that if marvel rivals add first person option and fix optimization problems i will not continue playing overwatch2 after spending so much money and my time on it.

Sadly game is unenjoyable when game is overrun by cheaters and on top of that system making forced win/loss to keep you engaged based on EOMM. ( Engagement Optimized Matchmaking)

As i said before, i love overwatch2. Game is so good but cheaters and matchaming ruined /ruining it. Of course improvements and aditionals things should be added in game over time.

after all the whining you’re doing for months about calling this place “cheaterwatch” maybe you should just transfer to rivals permanenlty and never come back here, ya know? :roll_eyes:

Yeah. I am always confused by their posts. 1 minute everyone is cheating, the next they want skins to give them their money.

I enjoy point 7 for OW “skins are top tier but overpriced”. They are pretty much the same prices as MR and and OW has more in the BP.

Then brings up a load of things like forced win/loss and EOMM that aren’t even things that happen in either game.

Just play the game that makes you happy. Gaming should be fun.

Add to that an 80%+ Very Positive rating on Steam, so initial feedback looks good, whereas OW2 bombed.

Seem you have a new game to salivate over in the steam reviews then.

Enjoy it while it lasts. Not often there is 2 games in a similar space worth playing.
