Massive FPS drops

So I don’t have a high end computer. It’s a few years old but I am able to run most games pretty smooth on it. I have no problem with most fps games like Valorant, Cs Go, MW2, Fortnite and Overwatch 1. Now when the sequel has rolled around my computer apparently can’t handle it. Like seriously, for the first 5 minutes It’s a slideshow and for the next 20 min the game is better, tho it has serious fps drops at times. Anyone have any tips or ideas for fixing this or is my computer just super bad?

Btw after like 30 min the game runs very well and I can have it on the highest quality without problem with just makes this super weird for me.

Somewhat hard to say without infomation on the computer itself as we have no way of being able to tell if there is a bottleneck or just outdated software etc.

You should post your specs and also check to see if your Windows and drivers (especially graphics) are up to date.
