Mauga is to overpower he has unlimited hp if he gets pocketed by a healer and he does stupid much dmg and he should not have a burn effect after shooting someone and he has no counters im tired of losing every game against a mauga when my tank wont go him. Atleast remove his burning effect and make his heal abbility weaker or for a start REMOVE HIM FROM RANKED.
I think if you remove his “life steal” from shooting, and reduced his effective range… He’d be closer to ok.
He should be good as a super close brawl comp, where your whole team plays in a unit.
He should be rubbish in other comps.

Also a big counter to Mauga is “skill”. Just out play the Mauga.
Play close to corners so you can duck into cover the moment you’re on fire.
Putting up shields and walls is basically mauga’s cryptonite as he can’t heal by shooting a shield. (Or you just assassinate his supports and he’s not much of a problem anymore)
Heroes that can self cleanse are an okay shout if your team is running around headlessly and lacking teamwork.
The battle of the beasts brawl mode was really good for learning how to play and how to play against mauga. Too bad not everyone played the mode enough to figure it out.

DVA will sh** on mauga, because u also have the mobility to go take out a support quickly, and come back to peel. Use your DM conservatively and your endless ammo on that big thick head of mauga. Sigma has a shield, yes, but also not that much dps and predictable cooldowns.
But generally speaking mauga games are boring, hes GOATS in a package. CC immune, even sets Orisa in fortify on fire. Simply counters half the tank rooster, needs attention from the whole enemy team. AND does so without needing any skill. As an example a Doomfist needs to juggle 3 balls with his hands and another 3 with his feet to even come close to the same effectiveness.

People are just less inclined to play dive atm, and poke comps are still really strong. So Sigma will win out.
But you are right, Mauga games suck!. It is why I haven’t played since Christmas. I just can’t be bothered with it.

in other words you have to massively outplay the mauga to win against him. Just stop… face it that hero is so beyond comically broken.
