hello, I would like to get more information’s about mercy’s resurrect. its because of my Islamic religion, so I just want to make sure what its her ability mean?
Is it a developed and upgraded type of medicine or CPR?
or its returning dead soul back to life? “Resurrection after death”
or what does it mean because I will decide if I’m going to stop playing the game or not from your response.

In the game, there is no true death as the characters “respawn” anyway and rejoin the game immediately.
If you read the short story that has mercy, ana and jack in it. “Valkyrie” or something like that. I believe she “resurrects” a civilian in it and it is no true resurrection.
It’s not a miracle, it’s futuristic sciense.
I hope its like that not a real turning dead’s into life again, but I still need something to proof it more I can’t relay on this bc I already know that. but there is a voice line on mercy’s The Witch’s Skin resurrecting voice line, “My servants never die!” and its kinda support that there are some servants to Mercy “استغفر الله” which go so wrong with my religion. When we are the servants of Allah only the only god. and if its a kind of miracle that she does that then its unplayable for me. but if there any proofs that its a kind of futuristic science then I’m happy to play the game again.
That voiceline only goes with the witch skin as in that one she is an evil witch, and in the event that the skin comes from it is implied that it’s less of a servant and and more of an unwilling servitude.
And on multiple occasions it is specifically stated that mercy uses science. (Witch mercy being implied to be different)
According to Muslim believe the soul is something that can only be taken and judged by Allah so if Mercy would resurrect it would mean it would become a soulless being, because the soul can’t be returned by her.
But Mercy is not a deity or prophet and she uses science to heal/bring back her team. So instead of actually healing/ressurecting, is she not undoing the damage and undoing the fatal wounds? A bit like tracer can rewind, she probably does something similar with her staff. So in that case its ‘safe’ to play the game.
About the servant part. While you’re right with you’re all servants of Allah, a person/muslim can have his/her own servants so there is nothing wrong with Mercy talking about her servants.
