My mic works in the menu when I’m in a party with my friend, but whenever I join in a match (skirmish or custom or qp), my mic gets cut out and stops working, even in other apps. I don’t have this problem with other games, just Overwatch. The mic does not pick up my sound but sometimes it picked up 1 or 2 words and then continued to cut off for the whole game. Then after the game ends, my mic starts to work again.
Some machines struggle to understand “auto join” on both team and group chats at the same time.
At least it’s like that for me. Auto-join on one chat and anything else on the other might help. You’ll have to change voice chats manually, but at leadt mine started working with that adjustment.
