Can blizzard please make it so we can write more when reporting someone?
I’ve been with players that i have to write more about but i can’t fit everything that i want to write.
Please make this happen.

- Blizzard’s report system is heavily automated, so typing an essay in the box is pointless.

The feeling you get when you try to explain an issue accurately and halfway you encounter the limit, so you try to remove some words to make it fit but end up with a mess of a text not making any sense, leaving you deleteing all text and skip the whole thing.
I think there should be a few more lines of space! Could not be that big of a deal to change?

Ueah i hate when that happens, because it’s often that a person has done to much that someimes i get akso confused as to ehat report option i should pick.
I wish they could add more room to wrire, and also that you can report someone at least 2 times.
Because if you abuse the report system, ot can turn on you instead.
The report is automated.
It’s not like there is a person at Blizzard checking your reports and what’s written in it.
If a player is being toxic you could be like : report abusive chat : this player is poopy nono good, i not like! And that player will get a report on his profile until enough have piled up and then he will be banned.
Blizzard has a horrible report system.
Yeah that i know ofc lol, but i still think it’s also better if you explain what happened because then it can be much easier to report someone and it can get through much easier.
They really have a bad report system BUT in the few days that i’ve been reportinh ppl i’ve actually gotten responses whitch is good xD
But they should upgrade it and make it better.
No one will ever read your report.
You have better odd’s of winning the loto.
You have better odd’s of being kicked by a snake.
You have better odd’s of finding a one ended stick.
Do you mean responses from Mods or just the people here on the forums?
Because i to have gotten the screen from Blizzard that says : Thank you for reporting! Action will be taken against this player that u have reported and all that bla bla bla bla bla bla…

blizzard ban system is fully automated and bans you depends on just quantity, no matter even those ho report are wrong
so noone reads this report text and didnt check anything
Nobody reads the reports man, you are wasting your time. If you want blizzard to hear you, report for only abusive chat, it’s the only violation that works
You could write in a report for abusive chat : “test”
And this would count as a report.
Report people for the excact reason, if he was being afk the whole game report them for inactive not abusive chat… This is miss usage of the system, how broken it even may be.

If you still feel like writing a love letter, pastebin might help. Just write it there and dump the link into your report.

Nobody reads what reports say! Come to think of it. Is blizzard going to spend time reading the reports of 40 MILLION PEOPLE TAKING THAT TIME OFF OF ACTUAL DEVELOPING??? I don’t think so. They have a fully automated report counter that ounce they see reports to that accout pass x number they suspend you for 1 week at first, 1,5 second, 2 weeks 3rd and it can go all up to 1 month
well i dont care if they read it or not, im gonna give my point of view why i reported someone anyway. In my mind I feel better about it knowing i have made my best effort to stop all bad behaviour i encounter. I usually get counter messages saying a player i reported got taken action against. Win for us ^-^

It’s ok, if it helps you mentaly, and doesn’t annoy someone else, just do it.
Also for the “taken action agains” message, I got the satisfaction of my life when i banned close to 10 smurf accounts on my alt. In qp i was being matched with 20 lvls which was ok and logical, but i recognized some of those were playing too good, and know strategics and tactics so… right click/report/abusive chat/ok/ok “Thank you for helping make our community better”
wrong. I usually report people for gameplay sabotage. For many of them I get confirmations about action upon players I reported.

Not joking at all. There was a week were i would log in every day and see the message.
