I am absolutely certain that I’m not the first to create this topic but I would like to offer an original content this time.
Going through the game and rising up the ranks demands more and more skill and communication.
We have to be sincere and say that in lower ranks, you can survive without communication. But the more you climb, the more it gets complicated.
I am not asking everyone to use their mic or to be active in the chat, but to at least try and use a common technical in-game vocabulary.
My problem is that the language barrier in EU can be very obstructive.
Away from toxicity and cultural conflicts, I suggest that we at least have an information about the language that a player prefers. It should be something adjustable on the settings and that appears on their profile.
Of course, private profiles are to be respected, but the language information should be an information that has the same level of privacy as the level of a player or his rank in competitive mode (I’m talking about the rank-badge and not the exact SR).
You may ask: how can this be helpful?
Well, some of us are multilingual and they can adapt to the language preferences very quickly and perhaps even translate to players what is being said.
I wanted to add that English must be a common spoken language in the game but it is racist and very marginalising.
I hope this idea looks interesting to the community and I get feedback about it.
