There will be some matches where I have worse aim than a mercy 1 trick and some matches where I feel like I should be maining Widow.
If you guys have any tips have any tips for improving aim in this game please post.
I had the same issues and was kinda stuck in plat. It took a while to find out I was playing on a bad sensitivity considering my aimstyle (tracking focus, don’t flick too much). You may be playing on the wrong sense. Even if its only a few hundred DPI off it does make a huge difference.
Also, always warm up. Especially if you don’t play daily.
there is something wrong with my aim as well, no matter what character i play, no matter if it is a direct hit, i apparently miss but when i don’t hit anything sometimes it counts as a hit.
when someone else goes to damage me or stun hit me and they miss or hit a wall apparently it counts as a hit.
it seems that most people encounter this issue and restarting both computer and the game does nothing. So i think the aim system might actual be broken.
Like kaeften said you have to warmup. If your issue is sensitivity maybe try the psa method that is atleast what I did. I reccomend playing aimtrainers (in ow or tools like kovaak) so you can become consistent.
Yeah it’s something with your connection to Blizzard. Apparently it’s neither ping or packet loss since I have the same problem with 0 packet loss and 40ms latency.
However changing my routers QoS settings makes hit boxes bigger for some reason even though my network is barely used.
