Normally I get like 85 to 90 but today I got around 150! Why is this happening? Is something wrong with the servers?
i have the same problem. usually im at 20 ms, today since 19:00 CET im at constant 100 ms and Overwatch is also the only game i have such a high ping. considering your name i assume you are also from germany so that might have something to do with it.

Yup. All other games are fine. 100 to 120ms (the usual middle east acceptable ping when connected to EU).
Overwatch is the only problem and I swear it’s recent. I’ve been playing for two years straight on Xbox. Zero issues. Recently got a PC and also didn’t have this problem till recently (last update).

So i really dont know what fixed it but to me the problem is fixed now. the problem was that the launcher somehow connected me to the wrong game server. you can check this by pressing strg + shift + n and looking up the very first letters that are displayed in the top left corner. While i ran WinMTR i got kicked out of the game, it logged me in automatically again and i was on the right server with a good ping again. if you guys still have the problem message me and i can tell what exactly i did before it got fixed maybe something solved it.
I’m having the same issue on PS4. I play with friends from Europe/Middle East and I’m consistently at 120 - 130ms latency. Now after patch, I’m at 260ms - 270ms. It’s making the game unplayable for me on PS4. Please fix. :’(

I have no idea what happened. All of a sudden, our latency on OW whether it’s console or PC got so high after the update. I made a thread with WinMTR and Traceroute here:

I usually have 50ms now its 90, whats going on?
Yes can you help me but im on PS5 my ping is constantly 80-90 before it was 60-50 I’ve tried everything.
