Im writing on behalf of my friend because he doesn’t speak English well.
He is lvl 2800 and he plays 6 hours a day and 12 hours a day on weekend
Every game starts with chat messages like : “Get a life” “are you disabled?” “omg what lvl is that” . which is kind of annoying
His roles are tanks and supports and we play duo or solo, and we are both 30 years old so we dont do silly stuff or abuse the chat.
So even when we play together people start flaming him like “omg look you are diamond level and still plat what a troll” and start reporting him for unknown reason, just him not me I dont even get why.
So he banned 3 times for “violating community rules”. we tried to reach out several times for russian support team but they never replied.
Now we can’t play competetive anymore because he is afraid to get a permanent ban.
Buying another account is not an option because he has all the blizzcon skins and OWL skins, all all-acseess-pass skins .
I feel really bad for him because he loves the game and he plays a lot and he spends crazy amount of money on it but what he gets in return is a BAN after BAN and now he is afraid to play competetive.
My question is where and whom can I contact in order to get details or at least a reason he gets banned so often and how to avoid it?
you get banned once enough people reported you (no reason needed).
Yes, thats how blizzards report system works, keep this garbage concept in mind when you consider purchasing another blizzard game where you or your friend might get shafted the same way again.
Also I’d never even remotely think about rewarding a company by bying a second account when my first got banned like this.
If you play the game a lot you are getting banned regardless of how you act. This is because reports will not decay accoring to your play time but naturally when the time passes. So avoid playing more than 2 hours per day (6 hours of comp is a guarantee ban).
You don’t really want to come in contact with anyone because you have definitely violated the coc all of as have. You see the systme is made in a way that all auto-bans are justified becaus it is imposible to not go aginst the code if you speak in-game.
That is how every single report system works, just because blizzard and the first receivers of bans (one tricks) made this public, people abuses it, way more than in other games. While there is also a lot more reasons to report a person, because of the diverse nature of the game (which is good and bad in this case). I would rather have some dude getting banned some times for recieving an insane amounts of reports, than cheaters running rampant through a long stretch of time, ruining thousands of players experiences, until his reports are looked at. White-listing and appealing the ban is possible and has been done multiple times before. But a lot of times i have to ask, what triggered the reports. I mean i know a sh*t ton of people that in those 4 digit levels, yet no bans there, why has XQC never been banned, why has the highest level player never been banned. There is prob some things going on outside of just people abusing the system to ban you for no reason, what so ever.
Outside of this a lot of people getting banned are very rude people who do stuff that in end, ends up hurting them because of it as well, like the one tricks. I cant remember a time with people getting banned for playing quickplay or something, that is always some aspect of people being rude, uncooperative, doesn´t want to play the game modes how they are intended or toxicity behind most of them. Whether you want it or not, you can do what you want in this game, but that doesn´t mean, that it was intended to be played that way and it doesn´t mean that you are not being rude/ruining games for your fellow players. This is not a bannable offense, but i understand fully, why people report you for it, when you are actively making problems based on some form of complication.
But feel free to post his ban appeal here, let us see, what the GM finds out is the culprit behind the bans.

Blizzard is the first game company from all I was involved with, which would blindly impose account suspensions based on sole number of unverified reports.
Nope, they are just the only one, that doesn´t limit how many you can get in a certain amount of time, all games have automated bans when enough reports are recieved.

It seems quite clear to me, the only one not knowing, what he is talking about is you.
For implications, Valve has it, in dota and in cs, lol has it etc. Most popular e-sports have it, to deal with rampant cheaters and insanely toxic players fast, cause if you warrant a certain amount of reports in a short amount of time, something is bound to be up with you and your personality, or you are prob cheating.
This is just false. I have almost 2000 hours of OW played over 3 years its been out, and I’ve never received a ban. I’ve been silenced once.
If people report you to the extent necessary, you must have done SOMEthing. It has to be large amount of different people, and people aren’t spiteful to THAT extent. Thats a myth.
CS, was never a F2p game. As i said, it is basically apart of every single major game that relies on the games e-sport aspect, because it offers a game that is very balanced and offers a lot of progression in terms of bettering yourself. A lot of people wants to jump ahead, so they cheat, that is why you have autoban system, cause the amount of games you can play before a system or GM catches you is a lot.

That post is far from “just false” I left many things up for discussion for it to be jst false. You can say that, this doesn’t apply to averyone, for example quickplayers or people who don’t use chat, but as long as there are player whom this applies to them, it isn’t “just false”.

Sorry for arguing with you, it seems like your temper went a bit high there. I didn’t mean to do that. My point was “people report you if they don’t like you, not because they thing you have to get banned, therefore more games means more people who don’t like you”. Btw xQc has been “fake reported” many many times but also banned, these are facts but also arguable facts?

Illiterate means not being able to read or write, you were unable to read, what i said fully. So you are illiterate, quite simple.
Other than this, were are the so called bans XQC has recieved for false reports. He might very well have recieved reports for false reasons. Yet to my knowledge all of his bans were justified through him being extremely toxic, false reporting himself or leaving games.

Is yours friend speaking to other people in team? . He should get basics in english fast, people dont like people from russia in general(who cant speaking english).
I can tell you this. If i will get someone who speaks only russian, possibly not even in voice chat, gold border+ i would not be happy. I would not report but i would not like it. And a lot of people will report. Because people just think he doesnt care anymore with that high level and not using voice chat.

How to solve this? Learn english and speak nicely to the team. When others are asking questions like you wrote, answer back with joke or funny response.
Btw try to help him reach blizz customer service by sending a ticket or by direct connection to online support and translate for him if local support doesnt work.
I stand by what I said. If you receive enough reports to receive an automatic ban, you are doing something consistently over a period of time that angers other players. Just by playing and working with the team normally is not going to get you banned, since the amount of reports needed is quite large.
There is no better example of “a hotheaded individual” that types before thinking in this thread than you.
