Love the event. Love content. In any form. But STOP FORCING ME to use twitch or other products unrelated to Overwatch or thirdparty etc. I should be able to get all loot within the game ingame por favor!

As long as they are not behind a paywall and you have a good amount of time given to do the challenge why would you care?
I care becasue i think its bad buisness ethics. Im obviously able to continue my humble existence without, but its a bad practice and we shouldnt aknowledge it becasue then its only gonna get worse. Like expansions / dlc etc. The bar for whats accpetable is set by the consumers. If we accept fully priced games still in early accses, preorder crappy games and allow companies to steer us toward other products, they will and it wont be to our benefit.

I am in no way defending blizzard if you thought that, I’m just saying that there is nothing to complain if you get the sprays literally for free, just let a stream with the drops run in background and maybe mute the tab if you seriously don’t care about the stream
Twitch is not unrelated to Overwatch at all anymore, they are very tightly knit together considering the eSport aspect of the game. And since that’s something Blizz wants push, they will most likely continue to bind 3rd-party products into events.
