Need help with matchmaking

Hi there,

I’m getting frustrated, but would like to figure this out. In competitive, I can’t get beyond bronze tank because 4 out 5 games I am placed into a team with incredibly weak dps, and we are matched with much stronger dps.

So I regularly end up with silver and gold damage and elims (playing Rein or Orisa), and my dps would be getting less than 5 elims in the entire match. If feel like this changes once you reach silver, but it’s impossible to get there when the ratio of bad to good dps is so high.

Would endorsements change this? I’m currently level 4. If not, how can increase the chances of being placed with DPS that match my skill level?

Am I doomed to be stuck in bronze? If so, I’ll just go ahead and play something else.

There is your problem.

It is bronze. Everyone is (sorry to say this) really bad. So I doubt you are doing much more. Medals are not a sign of success, they just show you’ve done a little more, not whether that is actually a lot or not.

You are not doomed. No one is.

Just focus on doing the basics, maybe just play 1 or 2 tanks.
