I did a clean install when installing ndivia driver 572.42 (had 566.36 before that). This erased all Nvidia Control Panel settings. Card is Asus ROG Strix 2070 S. (Nothing changed with the OW ingame settings.)
Before doing this I had a solid and stable 190-200 FPS no matter what happened; in teamfights the card went from 40-50°C to 80°C, which is ok since TFs take a few seconds anyway and the S versions are build to take heat.
NOW, since the new driver and losing Nvidia control panel settings for OW, the card stays at a stable 50°C, but when team fight happen the FPS drops to as low as 40-50 FPS. I want the card to heat up and give its full performance like before.
I tried many options, visited many sites, youtube videos, reddit, etc but cant seem to figure it out. Can anyone assist me with this issue, please?
Edit: I ofc tried rolling back to previous drivers, this did nothing, infact made the situation even worse. All settings are opted towards performance and high energy usage. There is something Im clearly missing here.
