Months of testing they said XD
On d1, they nerfed mccree right click ( absolutely deserved), just to forget why they nerfed it, and gave it to spamzo.
As I said, decision making at blizzard is still overrated XD
It is way to soon for him to get nerfed.
Genji and tracer have been dominating ranked and owl for 9 seasons, before they even got a slight tweak. Hanzo hasnt even seen one full season, let alone competitive play, and they already want to nerf him?
Now the reason for it, isnt even because he is too strong according to blizzard, its because it is frustrating to get oneshotted with damageboost? Getting oneclipped by a tracer, killed under a second by a dva, getting oneshotted by 3 different abilities of doomfist. Are those things fun? How about geting killed by a random doomball of moira fired 6 seconds in the past at the other side of the map?
Why is nothing done about those things.
Are we really gonna balance now based on whats ‘fun’, without even giving the meta some time to adapt? Because I can assure you that if there is a counter, and the competitive teams find it, everyone and their goldfish in ranked will try that new strategy. They will also cry havoc about that new strategy being OP.
I agree, but we all know, genji and tracer wont get nerfed, ever. Is impossible.
My biggest problem is the speed of the projectiles … He feels like a fu*** hitscan right now
Hanzo nerf is soon to hit PTR, and Tracer already saw a nerf in the form of his ult doing 100 less dmg.
He also got an indirect nerf in the form of Brig.
Escuse me, but nerfing her ult, was sillier than playing torb exclusevely with his little hammer.
She needs a nerf of her infinite blinks.
And brigitte right now, counters 90% of the roster xD
It appears Tracer has seen a pick rate drop from 45% to 3% in GM tier last week courtesy to Brig and the new meta.
The pattern would trickle down to the lower ellos with time.
Yes because it takes alot more skill to one clip a hero with tracer than it does a hanzo i have legit played 10 hours of hanzo in my entire in overwatch and i tried him today i have gone 40+ elims almost every game and had atleast 5-6 play of the games just because of how fast and easy his ultimate is to get it makes junkrat look bad haha.
why would genji and tracer get nerfed exactly you dont even understand why tracer and genji is to op its because of the tick rate of the servers and if they was changed tracer would be alot easier to hit with hitscans.

Yeah definitely. Thats why Tracer has near 100% pickrate in OWL, because they have bad latency on their LAN and low tickrates on their dedicated professionally set up servers.
/endsarcasm
before you make yourself look stupid owl is played on 144tick its why widow is soo good live is played on 64tick
/IDIOT
In owl Pine has no problem dealing with tracers widowmakers can end tracers and genjis very easily tracer has by far the highest skill cap in the game and that is why she is so good in owl.
If you really want to go there and understand why dive was so strong then it was not tracer or genji it was dva/winston combo but i dont see you complaining about that.
Yes, tracer and genji are strong. To use them, you need to get in close to the enemy team with a very low health hero and stay alive, which is different from standing half way across the map and firing tree trunks.
Personally, i think the planned nerf isn’t enough.
They must lower the speed of the projectiles where it was before the buff
