My goodness. It’s just stupid how over powered he is at the moment. His new 5 quick shot ability is way too strong. WAY TOO STRONG.

Reduce the amount of arrows to 3 or something and it would be better.

The new Hanzo is fine as he is right now. He can pull his weight and players have one less hero to completely tilt about even before the game starts.

I bet there will be like +200-300SR boost for every skilled hanzo main for free. Its funny how people tilt so bad that they take torb and afk in base and blame hanzo for the loss (this has actually happened to me) and much more bit milder but still throwing af and flaming hanzo 24/7. And they dont even have slightest clue if the hanzo was good or not (usually carrying the game but still team still constantly crying).

The new Hanzo is OP indeed, his high mobility + his huge burst damage is too much. Not to mention the speed increase.

FYI, it was a typo. Not sure if you realise but 6 and 5 are next to each other on a keyboard and sometimes we imperfect people happen to press the wrong key.

Also, i didnt “create a new account just to make this post”… Id been a regular forum user for ages but the forums told me they had moved and I havent made any posts SINCE they moved so my post count is indeed 1.

Could be a new account. I recently got this one (play on ps4 and wanted to give the comp version a go). Haven’t hit 25 yet so that could be it (don’t think my profile can be viewed). Profile not public until you are able to compete? I don’t know.

You’re very first statement kinda screams " I am a douche" right out of the gate. I mean, its normal on the internet. As long as you own it I guess.

To address the OP. A reduction in 1 arrow (to actually make it 5) and taking away the headshot would provide some real balance to the ability without breaking it. That’s a potential 400 dmg on a target u can aim at and 400 to bust shields (down from the current 480).

Okay im totally lost. I didnt know my profile wasnt showing under this new forum account. I will try to resolve that. But just for some background info, im a silver 3 star portrait and a master tier player.

Thank you all for your input into this topic. I apologise if my original post comes across as too harsh or offensive or whatever. Its not meant to be. Its just a personal opinion. Its not fact. Im totally open to hear your sides of it. I want to hear what you all think.
My personal opinion is 6 shots is just way too OP. 80 damage for each plus the opportunity to hit headshots?! YOUCH.

It’s typical blizzard balancing.

They removed one op ability, so why not add one ability that is balanced, nope, lets buff 2 existing items and add a op ability again.

Baffles the mind.

New Hanzo is fine now, rewards accuracy instead if aiming at the ground now.

The ability is ok, it just need to be tuned:

  • no headshots
  • slower ult charge

And maybe reduce the arrow size: it is to easy to hit.
Having cursor somewhere near the head and it still gives you a headshot.

Tree trunk arrows, bursting down shields and 1 shot kills on supports.

His pick rate in comp went from 8% to 48%.

He needs a nerf.

They annoynced the nerf to hanzo and its so lil it makes me laugh.

They took 10 dmg from it from 80 per arrow to 70 on his skill…

So now we wount oneshot 150 heros like tracer but it will still melt tanks and everyone els…

OHH YEAH AND HANZO IS STILL A BETTER MCCREE CAUSE FUCK THAT GUY.

Ive seen plenty accounts that has lower than lvl 25 and can be viewed. Dont know if they have changed that.

I dont see a reason not to be a douche someone whos being retarded straight out.

Taking 1 arrow would be more reasonable aka. not retarded. Ability not to head shot is just way too much.

I just find it funny when people post on accounts that dont even own the game. Why not post on their main?

Sure its quite strong. Id say something like nerf the dmg to 70 per shot would be the most balanced one or drop the number of arrows to 5.

Its also funny how so many people suggest no head shots while yelling “blizzard is not rewarding skill, stupid brigitte”. Removing head shots would be really stupid imo and doesent reward the skilled.

And things like “lets nerf it to 3 shots” is way over the top rendering the skill completely useless.

I thought Scatter Arrow was bad but this new Hanzo is even worse.
