Honestly, I hoped they wouldn’t. I really disliked the US format, and was hoping not to see it. But I guess I trust in it and will eventually get used to it.

Well, the layout is God awful, one of the worst I’ve ever seen. With all the bells and whistles and logos and icons in every possible direction.

Judging by some of the US posts I’ve seen it will take a toll on the quality, if there was any at all. Generally from what I’ve seen a lot of pictures were used instead of actual constructed sentences, which is not something I personally very much like. But hey, that’s me.
Are you using the new Pink Mercy icon? If so, it’ll take a short while for those to show up correctly. Sorry for the delay!

Yeah. Theres WAY too many buttons and links scattered evenly all over the place, camouflaging where a post ends and UI begins. Then there are certain obvious things missing, such as “quote” button. Quoting is possible, but seems counterintuitive compared to old forums.
I have to be VERY specific of where I move my mouse pointer without accidentally clicking something unintended.
In a way it’s more intuitive now coz you just highlight the text you want, and hit the quote button that appears. Plus unlike before you don’t have to hit “Quote” to respond to an entire post, you just hit reply instead.
The new thread will state it’s a reply to someone, which if you click expands the original conversation made earlier.
Not to me it isn’t.
ALSO: OBLIGATORY LETTERS SO I CAN ACTUALLY POST
You just use “Reply” as a way to respond instead of hitting quote.
Quote’s meant to respond to a portion of the discussion.
What’s cool about it is it hides a lot of the quote clutter that was created before.
You just click the replied message, to drill down the older response.
It’s cleaner.
Hiding all the nerff brigitte/moira/hanzo treads and the “im quiting overwatch cause its toxic atm” once.
And no downvotes in the new forum ,might aswell remove the new forum the old one was better.

No. This new one was made, because it’s been on NA for like month or more now. I really don’t know why it took so long to get it to EU, but I enjoy the changes!

It’s sad to see this place neglected and less active than the US one, I’m more around there due to that reason, even when it’s seemingly at time where US people would be asleep it’s still active more than here…
Also devs seem to focus more on the US one, hopefully with the introduction of the new forums here, we’ll find people that are more active and devs can give us a little love.

Well for one thing, we support 7 languages in the European Region, so we needed a bit more time to get all 7 EU forums ready
