what a load of cack totally ruins any ultimates. that’s not the spirit of the game.
why not just delete all ultimates what a waste of man hours. killed overwatch for me.

I think he’s great. But then again I am a Brigitte main and slapped him down with no effort. The immortality drone is very vulnerable. His healing grenades don’t appear to deal splash damage. His healing aura doesn’t do a great deal of healing, the killy bit of his gun is 3 round burst fire and damage drops off quickly at range, and the damage boosty thing he does is easily avoided by walking round the side of it. The moon boots are fun as anything though. He will force people to work as a team to take him out, rather than just using Hanzo dragons or Death Blossom or D.VA nuke to wipe a team.
But Brigitte still gives him a good slap and tells him to stop messing about.
don’t care about his healing dps or survivability. its his god mode for everyone else while you use your ultimate on a low cooldown its lazy design.

So learn to counter it. Destroy the immortality field or take Sombra, simple. Learn to work as a team instead of complaining like you solo everything…

also if the team has no direction which is 90 percent of the games I play.
everyone uses there ults whenever its a game breaker.

Well it is in the game, and it’s not that big of a deal. “The spirit of the game” is purely personal opinion, it’s a team based fps requiring you to utilise abilities from different heroes whether you need to compliment a group or counter another, it’s always been this way.

You’re saying that like 20sec is a short cooldown. It’s the longest in the game, and for an ability that can be destroyed.
We’re living in OW with a year of Brigitte, meaning a year in which even silvers and golds have learned that you have to keep track of certain cooldowns. Keeping track of Baptiste is really not that hard.
Edit: Is defense matrix the same in your mind? It’s also “on a cooldown” and “making a mockery of having a [sic] ultimate”. Is sleep dart the same? It’s on a cooldown and it can destroy certain ultimates, arguably even more than IF.

but its anti fun this is fps where your running and gunning also the longest cooldowns in the games are the ultimates……
and there over 20 seconds. in the heat of the battle causual gamers are not thinking about his cooldowns. then we have to kill a drone before you kill a player.

matrix and god box are different abillitys and dart takes a degree of skill
So far I’ve not seen much value from IF since the patch. It’s simply destroyed too fast.
I guess this could change when people get better at placing it.
Oh well, I guess you should just give up on Overwatch then.
I don’t think it’s broken but it will become more powerful once people know where to place on it on certain maps, making the killable part of it much harder to get to.
It is a sign of where this game is and where it is going, more moba and less fps, pressing a button at the right time is more valuable then mechanic aiming.
Once people get good with this hero I really think he will be very powerful and need some nerfs.

Again a useless post about a crybaby who rather scream that Baptiste is broken, instead of making some effort to learn how to counter him.

I could make an excuse here and say that Mercy isn’t really in the game these days anway, but you’re right, I overlooked ress. Gives you an insight though, how powerful abilities on long cooldowns aren’t really meta-defining.

Yup agree.
TBH I would pay to get ride of the rez for a better and shorter CD utility skill on Mercy.
For Baptist, the field is strong only against low reaction player.
Even me as a casual who was afraid of this ability don’t have any problem to deal with.
Not an issue for me neither. But it’s still new and I’ve seen very bad uses of it. Bad placements at random moments and no use to save against ultimates.
At the moment, I think it’s fine as it’s easy to destroy, but we’ll see how it goes when people start to use it properly.
