Ok I just saw a few videos of these new “huge hit boxes”.
What are you doing… This is going to kill the game further, why would you implement this!?
You don’t even need to aim anymore, you can just shoot the side of the head and it counts as a headshot… Shoot away from the side of the body and it still hits them. This is going to cause many problems!
Why do you keep making these silly changes… I really don’t understand your reasoning for your decisions.
They aren’t “huge”. They just look stupid when you shoot someone in the training range up close
They are the same for everyone so it makes little difference to match flow. And the stats are showing that damage and healing aren’t really changing at all. You can hit some people a little more consistently… but they can also hit you. The cream will always rise to the top still.
So, nothing to freak out over. Just looks bad on Twitter… but then Twitter isn’t a positive place…
They will probably just reduce the hitboxes slightly next season.
This is fairly obvious, based on what they’ve explained. More consistency. With ping and what people think are bad team mates… well now games are more consistent.
“new”… they are the same… but this new increase bullet/projectile sizes, which makes it look like they are hitting further away (because bullets are bigger).
I am sure it isn’t. But you are on another account to circumvent a ban on your last Vers account. And reappeared when Wolfe disappeared. So people can make their own judgement.
Just read the newest patch notes, they explain perfectly well that bullet sizes were changed.
"Most damage-dealing projectile sizes have been increased by a new global modifier added to their base size.
+0.05 meters for hitscan projectiles with a high rate of fire or spread (e.g., Tracer’s Pulse Pistols or Reaper’s Hellfire Shotguns).
+0.08 meters for hitscan projectiles that are more precise (e.g., Cassidy’s Peacekeeper or Soldier:76’s Heavy Pulse Rifle).
+0.05 meters for travel time projectiles that are shotguns or have a very high rate of fire (e.g., Roadhog’s Scrap Gun or Ramattra’s Void Accelerator).
+0.10 meters for travel time projectile with a speed greater than 50 meters per second (e.g., Zenyatta’s Destruction Orb).
+0.15 meters for travel time projectile with a speed less than or equal to 50 meters per second (e.g., Pharah’s Rocket Launcher).

Having played all night… This isn’t really proving to be the case.
Zen is far more problematic. Discord is ridiculously strong once again.
Soldier and Ashe are by far the best DPS.
Moira and LW are suffering, they are no very good.
As for tanks. Seem like D.Va is going to be good, but Sigma is still king. Sigma being top dog means Widow gets very little value. You also have to remember, even if Hanzo is strong. It is strong for both teams… so it is fair.
As a reference. This is probably the most accurate tier list I’ve seen so far.
If there is nothing wrong with the messages, they will get restored and no other action taken.
I only have 1 account and i’m pretty sure it would take more than 2 flags to hide a message.
So even if both of us would flag the messages, they wouldn’t get hidden for that.
Zen has been present in most of my competitive tank matches, with how the dps passive now works with the reduction of healing received coupled in with dps like bastion or soldier who can have high dps outputs I have had to play extremely carefully.
I do think, as a tank main, there is also an element of the previous 8 seasons have taught us bad habits. We can position badly, overextend and feed and the supports will save us. Now they can’t. So now those bad habits are getting punished, and punished fast.
I agree. I’ve been focusing on tank a lot but might go back to play flex as just playing tank has lost its appeal to me. I need to watch and learn and adapt to the new way you have to play, getting caught out of position has resulted in me getting obliterated. Counter picking is still as present as ever and there are a couple of tanks I just hate playing so I haven’t put much time into learning them.
