I have been away from both the game and forums on purpose to allow time to pass and it’s competitor to release, After much waiting it’s safe to say this game needs a whole new leadership and direction, Otherwise just shutdown the servers and aim for a whole new team to develop OW3, PVE focused.
Why would you shut down a game that is performing well. That would be an illogical move.
I understand it isn’t a game you enjoy anymore (or just at the moment). But that doesn’t mean shutting it down is the play.
Then the game is released without PvE, 3vs3 format, without hybrid maps and without comms.
Lol new leadership was needed like 10years ago. Before they kill D3, D4, OW, Heroes of the storm, Hearthstone etc… Blizzard don’t care about you or their games they ONLY care about the MONEY!!! Try Marvel Rivals , you will be happily surprised and it’s FREE !!!
You know MR has the same monetisation right… And they are both free games.
Ill never forgive blizzard for what they did to hearthstone. They just were not happy with a collection game where you could collect everything for free or on a small budget.
Legit was my biggest red pill in the direction blizzard is going to. They also dont give a crap about Europe in general and predend that the dollar and euro are 1:1 for the last 10 years even when euro to dollar was 1:0.8. Then they also dont give crap for other curries, they only see Dollars, Euros and Chinese wan, If you dont get paid in them you are just screwed by the literal scam exchange rates and taxation.
My local currency is 1.8 for 1 euro, then blizzard just rounds that up to 2 then taxes you, then they round up the euro to 1:1 for the dollar and bam, you are effed 3 ways.
It wasn’t making money. So Bobby Kotick moved the people to work on WoW.
So I wouldn’t blame Blizzard, I’d blame Bobby. It was his decision.
Hearthstone started with a team of like 10-15 people, it does not need to be a game that makes billions for blizzard to be up. They just went full greed mode on that.
Indeed. But it was a direct Bobby Kotick decision. WoW was making loads, Hearthstone wasn’t making much, if anything. So he decided to put them on to WoW things.
He’s done it a lot over the years.
I paid for ow1 , just saying feeling scammed with their lies about PvE that they promised infront of everyone during the blizcon and all the empty promises!!!
At this point I don’t even want an OW3 if made by the same team. Give us the game we paid for.
You paid to access OW1.
Not sure what they lied about, games/movies/shows get revealed, teased and then cancelled all the time. But you paid to access OW1 because you liked the PvP. You’ve lost nothing.
Overwatch1 got so bad at the end of its run that it was like 5 euro anyway.
Completely agree. Blizzard have truly lost their way.
Actually we paid for the game.
That was clarified in court not so long ago. You paid for access, you never owned.
Here, just in case you hadn’t seen this…

Proof? That’s another lie. OW one is yearsss old. When we bought it, it was our game. Then forcefully deleted the game and created a worse one. Wp Blizzard, wp.
Lmao that link, oh dear.
If you read the story the law is simply to “plain English” the language used. The rules never changed. You never owned it.
It is stupid. It is why I collect games, music and media in physical form (plus they just look good).
That is an opinion you are entitled to. Whilst not as aggressively, I agree OW2 isn’t quite up to the level of OW1. But I enjoy/enjoyed both. And I don’t see OW2 not being quite as good as a reason to get mad about it. It is just a game after all.
As you seem upset about a link

A well reported story, no one should have missed it. Or thought it wasn’t already the case.
Yeah, I’m gonna listen to a crappy url page you linked.
Yes, we did, we really did, until they changed the policy. Stop spreading misinformation champ.
Oh really? I had no idea.
Upset? Where you getting this from? Lmao you really are something, spreading misinformation and lies constantly. But you do you. You carry on thinking the way you do, but many know you’re wrong. By the way, you’re not a moderator or a Blizz employee so stop pretending you are lol
Good day!
The policy never changed.
The law passed was to make platform tell people, in plain English, that they never owned it. That’s it.
Fun fact, if you buy the physical disc these days, you still don’t own the game sadly. All you’re doing is buying the digital licence, on a disc.
I think it’s terrible and media and art should be protected to prevent from disappearing but that’s a debate for another day.
No misinformation from me in this thread, it’s all reported in the news.
Wrong again, sigh.
Lmao not a fact though. Look up the definition of “fact.”. You seem to have trouble understanding the meaning.
All you ever spout is misinformation.
