Disclaimer: “Warning you will be rober don’t make thieve free of their guilt”
As most of us know, OW2 born beacuse OW1 died. And this occur in part due the wrong executive decisions, that made Jeff Kaplan leaves. I use common sense to affirm that.
Now, again executive greedy decision is ruining the work of programmers, artist and commnunity of OW.
I dont gonna discuss the prices, but I have perceived some cheaty practices from store. They want to infund something like fear of missing out. The real reason you have to logging a game is because you enjoy a game. Then enjoiying a game make you feel interested on news, creating/consuming content and everything else. Not creating a random store that allow temporary buy some stuff. I didnt see a problem because I expected that the whole seasonal items will be available to be purchased when the respectively event comes up. However I just noticed that some items are not available despite we were in halloween or christmas. These last 2 practices show again the interest a make a game that max-profit with cheaty psicological tricks while min-the invest on creating worthy content. Again, classical lazy executive mind set.
For these reasons I think fair make some changes in the store:
-All content from OW1 must be obtainable with legacy credits
R/ Again Blizzard have to decrease the harm made for launching a re-edition of their game. Is unfair with the people that purchased OW1 that return and were discconected from the game. Their credits lost a big part of its worth. And that includes seasonal content launched before OW2 launch.
-Abussing fear of missing out force innecesary logins to check items in the store.
R/Allowing all seasonal items BE PURCHASEABLE, while seasonal event is up.
I also consider the prices of the new content is too high, however this is about market dynamics. If enough people decided is not worth, they will have to low the prices. Personally I decided not buying anything. However if many people consider it is worth, probably they wont changes the prices or rise it.
Same. But millions of others are paying for the things they want.
F2P will be generating considerably more per playing than OW1 could.
Don’t have to like the prices or the content (I’m not a fan of either), but that’s just the reality of the situation.
We will probably find out more in the new year (they are all heading for their Xmas shut down, hence why the midseason Hog nerf patch got delayed till early January)
Whilst I agree, my opinion is also it isn’t worth it.
The majority disagree. Remember the watch point pack made OW the 5ths highest selling game in the world for a period in 2022. It made a shed load just from that alone.
And F2P players are a different beast. You play a p2w game. You pay money just to boost, so you are well aware of how well F2P games can skim money on people.
Again for the billionth time, it’s not a P2W game since you win NOTHING from it. You don’t even play it lol, so you don’t understand at all. Keep claiming it’s a “P2W” game but I know it’s not.
Wrong. It’s a pay to BOOST game, not a pay to win. You clearly don’t know the difference, and you don’t even play the game. Also, you may want to google it again and see how many disagree with you. CoC is a SKILL based game, whatever you spend on it doesn’t affect your actual game-play.
Accept being wrong… Like someone mentioned today, stop being so stubborn and admit you’re wrong for once, it’s embarrassing.
“Boosting” isn’t giving you the advantage though, you still get paired equally in clan wars no matter what kind of base you have. But you don’t know that because you don’t play it…
