The forums are so clean and polished… but I have a few suggestions. If you want to give feedback on games and the website support tells you to put it on the forums but I think that there should be a separate service for suggestions and feedback.
Blizzard should create a more direct and streamlined way for us to provide feedback for anything Blizzard related! Even if this is just opening a new email for all these request to go through. I’ve seen a lot of people wanting this sort of thing because they feel that their posts just aren’t seen. This is a general problem with the entire forums page actually. I spent 3 hours writing a post about changes and positive feedback about Overwatch 2 and then 1 person commented and I couldn’t even respond because I had to ‘let other people join the conversation’. Really, I wanted to send that post directly to blizzard but, just like everything else, I’m told to put it on the forums where it will probably never be seen by someone who could actually do anything about it. I’m in the EU and the overwatch Devs arent even part of the EU forums, as can be seen using the Dev tracker, so I have to use the US forums for it to even have a chance at being seen. Please just let me send ideas and feedback (I have lots of positive stuff I just want to tell them, to tell them that they are making amazing games) through a specialised email or special feedback page for each game. In the long run, mine still probably won’t be seen, but for it to feel meaningful just means so much more!
I don’t want to compare blizzard in terms of customer value to other companies but I just want to give an example: when I contacted a certain other company with positive feedback (through an email they personally responded to) I was told that my feedback (not even suggestions, just positive feedback) would be passed along and they appreciate anything like it. It made me feel like my message had worth.
When I post something on the forums it just feels like: yeah, let everyone except who I want see it and that’s kind of sad!
Even if you just have a small specialized team to sort only the very best of the suggestions and feedback and give it to the Dev team, that would be fine! It would be even cooler if it told you that your message had reached the Dev team. And I’m sure some positive feedback would probably be really motivating and nice for the developers to hear.
People love Blizzard games!
Why not let us all tell the developers directly (in a way) through a service like this? It’s kind of randomly chosen if your month old forum post gets to a single developer, but if it was sent through to the entire team, I think that would feel good for the person who sent it, and for the Devs to hear helpful feedback and just nice, happy, positivity driven messages!
It might be a hassle to set up but once it’s up, it’s up and people will feel like their message has worth!
Please implement a system like this! Especially in places like the EU where Devs just aren’t on the forums because they are in the American ones (just repeating here: this can be found on the Dev tracker).
