as the title says, New torb, is just like New sym… better than the old… but still trash and unplayable…
trouble being… the turret… yes you can throw it… but as soon as you do its dead from the massive amount of burst damage in the game so its kinda pointless even having it… shrugs
the only way to fix it is to either 1. give it a massive amount of health… and im talking in the thousands… 2. give it a personal shield of at least 1000… or 3 make it invulnerable as its setting up…
stationary objects in this game are complete trash unless they are extremely tough… sym turrets, torb turrets, bastion in sentry… all useless because of the burst damage available… lets be honest its not difficult to shoot at a single point no matter what rank you are…
as for being able to throw them… yes good in theory… but you cant throw it into a good location because 1… ranged heros exist and they can easily snipe it… and 2. you cant get any support up there to protect it… so the whole rework is moot…
not to mention how easy it is to hit torb himself… meanwhile his primary weapon feels so clunky and random…
for instance… i was point blank with a phara… shot a shotgun volley into her… did about 25 damage… from point blank range… in other words… pathetic…
sorry blizzard… but you are dumb… and so are your ideas… unless you massively buff those poor heros at the bottom… they will never ever… ever compete with the more mobile… and more bursty heros in this game
after all… why even bother setting up a torb pill box committing at least 3 of your team to it… when 1 tracer with a pulse bomb and her 1 clip kill potential can do the same thing…
and again, new ult? area denial… AOE… and armor counter… awesome idea… but in reality? “senario - ohh… you made the floor dangerous… thats ok i will use my infinate mobility to go around it… no biggy”… see what i mean?
