Dunno, I always just assumed the restriction meant ‘No offensive battletags’.
I don’t believe so. Never saw special characters in tags and I think Blizzard means special characters when they say “symbols”.
One note though, your current nick comes with special responsibilities young Baguette San. First of all you can’t asume that Brigitte is Baguette, in fact there’s only one Baguette and that’s Widow. Brigitte is not Baguette. If any, she’s a fake Baguette or better: she’s a Surströmming. So I hope you’re not acting like a Baguette when playing Brigitte because you should play Widow. She’s the one and only real Baguette.

i wonder if i could use B̫̱̹̈͂̂̓̀͜U̴̜͙̰̮̼ͧͨ̔ͨͨŖ͚̱̱̦̬̍̎̓̄͞Ķ̏̀̏̍ͩ͂̈̀͑҉̲̯̼̦̺̣͕L̞̠̤͈̹̼̻͙̃͊̂ͨ̑̀͟ͅḀ̐̄ͭ͐ͥ̆̂̎̀͜X̧̏̑̐̚͞҉̠̞̠̭̞͖

(burklax = canned salmon(in swedish)… i use it as a non-sense curse word an a collegue produced this text encoded nightmare for me lol… i had to add the dots up and bellow so it would not hight truncate the text)
I’d toletate your burklax but I’d sooo report your for surströmming because of it’s offensiveness.
Got the law on my side too (from Wikipedia):
In 1981, a German landlord evicted a tenant without notice after the tenant spread surströmming brine in the apartment building’s stairwell. When the landlord was taken to court, the court ruled that the termination was justified when the landlord’s party demonstrated their case by opening a can inside the courtroom. The court concluded that it “had convinced itself that the disgusting smell of the fish brine far exceeded the degree that fellow-tenants in the building could be expected to tolerate”.
So yeah… tolerance sure has limits.
I think that would work character, but it might be over the character limit. If I’m not mistaken that might be a few hundred characters.
actually it’s just 7 characters… all that noise and stuff is just thing modifying the characters… or at least i think that is the case…
I am honestly not sure what the heck my college did to produce that string lol…
surströmming is banned by the Geneva convention where not allowed to use it outside of Sweden or it would cause an international incident.
No, there are enough ‘‘text counters’’ online to count stuff like that, it’s a total of 107 characters, which is actually on the small side. Once made a sentence with that type of text to send on discord, was over 2k characters.
