No beta invite on two accounts

I long term fan of overwatch with two accounts, purchased items in game and supported from start and no invite to Beta after two applications. My friend plays casual just purchased the original and gets a beta invite straight away yesterday.

Beta invites are a lottery, so it doesn’t matter how many copies of the game you own, or how much money you’ve spent.

The game makers can suck ass then, I’m not supporting a lottery system.

Watch the stream tonight and you’re guaranteed an invite.

Thankyou for your reply, but not a great way to launch a game, this reminds me of the world in general. Sorry for the fit.

Bit rude and unnecessary. What makes you feel like you deserve it more than anyone else?

Also, just watch twitch streams in an hour or so an you’re fine.

Because lottery systems are unfair period.

Not a great way?? This launch of a beta has been done excellently. Driving hype, maximum promotion whilst still only being an essentially nothing beta of an unfinished product.

? A random lottery is literally the fairest way to do it.

How would you have done it

I`m sure we can all spend out time doing something better. Yes i do because some of us have promoted them amongst friends and family.

Steamers have promoted them to hundreds of thousands of people. Some of them didn’t get in because it was a random lottery

Its not hard to make a small app that does the lottery system in your own account section. So you can see the results. Instead of them playing the mail shots.

Would still be a random lottery and wouldn’t change the results. A few got in, most didn’t.

Not sure why you think you deserve it more than others

I never said i did. I just don’t like the system used.

There wasn’t a fairer way of doing it.

Everyone in the alpha + streamers being used to promote it + random lottery open to all + anyone who earns it through twitch drops.

Guess they breaking old eggs to make new ones then.

How. Explain what you mean.

Honestly the complaints are getting outta hand. For real, 99% of people crying out doesnt participate in a beta to actually test and deliver feedback. The reason streamers get access to it as if streamer has 10k viewers and all of them see a bug the streamer is noticing, that is 10 000 higher chance it will get reported to blizzard and get fixed.

Be honest to yourself, i am atleast, i have never reported a bug ingame since wrath of the lich king beta.

They dont run the beta as sort of a demo for the game, its to actually polish the final product.

For one older supporters should get first privileges yes?

No. Literally doesn’t matter. They wanted a spectrum of PC specs and to test servers.

Just because you played longer than someone else, doesn’t make you more entitled
