No new mode this event? What is Jeff hiding?

So as you may have already heard, the christmas event is returning soon. Just like all the other events we will get new skins, emotes, sprays,… and even an updated christmas version of Blizzard World (which looks really good btw)

But no update to the existing event modes or even a new one…

So this makes me wonder: if they’re not putting effort into creating a new event, what are they putting all their time in? (THEY being the developers)

Does it take that long to create a new hero? Perhaps theyre making an entire new event all by itself? Maybe, dare I say it, a highly requested campaign or (permanent) pve mode?

What do you guys think? What is Blizz putting all their time in?

They said that they’d be focusing more on balance changes.

Three leters…OWL,they are sending their resources there instead of making something new for the game,why do you think they are focusing in balancing now?

It’s sad.
Events have such a potential to bring players back or entertain the ones who are still here and care for the events but instead we get nothing.
I mean yeah, new skins and a new map design but this is nothing that lets me thing;" Oh day, what an amazing new skin! Now I am not bored of the always repeating evens anymore!"
