The developers have completely ruined what made Overwatch fun. The new maps are poorly designed, and the hero reworks are terrible—abilities that once took skill have been watered down into meaningless extras. It feels like the people in charge don’t even understand their own game.

The endorsement system is another disaster. Forcing players to reach level 3 just to use chat has killed communication. Lobbies are silent, team coordination is gone, and the social aspect of the game is dead. Instead of encouraging teamwork, the system punishes players and shuts down interaction.

This level of incompetence from the developers shows exactly why the game is losing its community.

I’m relieved I never spent money on this title, and at this rate, I have no reason to start.

Game is about as far from “dying” as it can get for being a 9 year old game.

Steam alone, it has exactly the same player count as MR atm. And that isn’t counting consoles and battlenet.

Whilst, not liking their decisions is understandable. The game will be fine if you decide it isn’t for you anymore.
