Will be nice if we have the option to play the old Mercy (The One with Mass Ressurect) just in custom games (aka with the Workshop)

I remember I started playing Overwatch around 2 weeks before the end of season 5, so i got to experience around 2 weeks of mass rez in live play and while I still think it pretty unbalanced, at least in comparison to what the other support ults at the time were, I also think Blizzard rework and replacement for it was pretty boring and lack luster in comparison. Mass rez along with the “heroes never die” vc was pretty iconic back then when I first started playing.
Hopefully they add an Overwatch classic/original mode to the arcade, with all the old abilities and ults.

an classic overwatch arcade mode would be amazing, have it be the old roster of overwatch as well.
with sym and torb having their old abilities, like torb needs to upgrade his turret, sym can place 6 but can’t shoot her turrets!
no doomfists anymore, no sigmas,no brigittes or moiras!
the time where overwatch trully felt like a game

There is no way of having this experience, at least for the time being.
The last hope would be if they somehow implement this in OW 2 PvE with the ult customization thing they mentioned.
Excellent suggestion! I’d love such an option. It would certainly make my Mass Rez mods a whole lot easier if they give us the actual assets to work with (No more need for recreating the look and feel of the ultimate when it already exists). It would also save a ton of coding as well, since we would no longer need to recreate it from scratch.
Yes please on all fronts! It’s time for a revert
