Open Q is way more fun than RQ!

Whilst hypothetically true. This doesn’t happen in reality. People are much less likely to leave a review after a positive experience.

h ttps://www.nationalstrategic.com/why-would-they-write-that-the-psychology-of-customer-reviews/

Yep! Any negative reviews people have, Blizzard blanks them out. At least Steam lets people actually give their thoughts about the game. Not a good look at all.

This is completely false. I leave positive reviews all the time after experiencing.

Well done. But I didn’t say people don’t. They are just less likely. (link above in to one such study).

It really is lol.

I just found this article:
https ://www.marketingcharts.com/customer-centric/customer-satisfaction-117216

A more recent survey  Which shows more People Report Leaving Reviews Online for Positive than Negative Experiences.

As Overwatch 2 has sooo many more negative reviews, it just shows the game is shoddy and terrible in comparison ot Overwatch.

You basically did.

National strategic lol. Doesn’t mean anything.

This is certainly like the 5v5 / 6v6 conundrum. Ask the right people and you will get the answer you want.

Your link is from a marketing agency that wants to promote reviews and review systems.

The one I found was purely from a psychological stand point.

Thank you for confirming that I didn’t say people don’t. I said “much less likely”

Indeed. If you don’t own a business, you are unlikely to know what organisations like this do and won’t have any meaning to you, which is fair enough.

Good night chaps. Enjoy your games!

This is false. The one you found doesn’t mean anything at all.

Of course. It disagrees with you, so you wish to ignore it.

You do that, I am going to watch a movie. Laters.

It’s a random link you posted. It’s not accurate, it’s just a psychological opinion, and it doesn’t mean it’s true.

Have fun!!!

It is a study, with results, not an opinion. You are free to ignore it, I am not one that ignores science myself.

Bye!

I’m not one to ignore reviews either.
Overwatch 2 is on the Bottom 100 worst Steam games of all time.
It is rated as the 7th worst. Whereas Overwatch was GOTY in 2016.

Not only has the game gone down hill, but also the treatment of the playerbase. I listen to the Steam reviews as most of them are spot on. They’re not to be ignored.

Would love an explanation on to how you believe the “treatment of the playerbase” has gone downhill.

I get you don’t like the direction they’ve gone with the game changes, that’s fine. They won’t please everyone. But treatment of players is an interesting one.

Agreed to be honest.

6v6 means bigger friend groups could play

I remember reading a study, ill try and look for it in a second, where it showed there was more to it than what you say. people with very neutral views of the game wont review it. whereas people with strong views will review it, however hate is often stronger than love in these cases and so i was just adding some more infomation. Most players would rate it as above neutral, as if they had no feelings or bad feeling towards the game, simply put they would not play it.

the update quality is decreaseing,m take an example of the new mythic skins, customisable, yet the customation has been slowly going down to only a few options. and then they throw it in our faces by rereleasing these skins. which i have alr made a post complaining abt

Obviously.

Again. Obviously. There is only so much I can be bothered to explain to people on here… Especially when they will deliberately disagree any ways. There is always more nuance to things.

Yeah the mythics have been a bit meh… But then I give absolutely zero f’s about skins, so they aren’t being targeted at me anyways.

Updates decreasing in quality I can definitely see where you are coming from. But they are subjective. I know people who have come back to the game just because of the last few patches. I am pretty neutral on it,. I don’t think the game is any worse or better than it was before.

But the patches don’t make the game fun or not for me. That boils down to me and who I play with.

If I solo queue DPS, I will not have any fun and after a few games will mentally zone out (I don’t find any of the DPS heroes interesting to play in the slightest). If I stack, I will play tank and have a laugh and have fun in every game I play, no matter the result, or the patch.
