Overwatch 2 is currently miserable

I sit down and play for a couple of hours multiple times a day, and every single time without fail I get bullied. i play maybe 10-15 games each session and never win more than 3 or 4. I just get walked almost every single game I play I feel like. i just don’t think that should happen in a video game that’s supposed to be fun and enjoyable. It should be a fun game but I always get off contemplating deleting it. idk what but overwatch devs really need to fix something. no video game should make a person miserable like this. and I say currently because ik it wasn’t always like this. I’ve been playing since around 2017 and its just the past 2 or 3 seasons where I get bullied and lose the majority of the games I play

First tip. If you’re playing multiple sessions a day, if the first one sucks, don’t play again for the day.

If the next day, that also sucks. Take a couple of days off.

It’s a video game, if it’s impacting you emotionally, you need to ask yourself why, and is it worth it.

Most Blizzard games are full of toxic players because they lack the high intelligence and requirement to actually work together.

The more toxic you are the higher you climb on the ladder, be it Overwatch or world of Warcraft.

If you actually want to challenge yourself in a video game then pick a solo game.

Yeah…nah. Toxic players get booted if they are being a pain.

I know it sounds bad but, maybe when you play your first game or two. Maybe play an AI match. Its impossible to loose and helps you practice. Maybe even a custom game to warm up. Then you will feel more positive going into real games!

Yep, the matchmaking is no where near the quality of what Overwatch was from what I recall, one-sided matches happened Rarely! The matchmaking in this game is terrible are generally one-sided and poor quality. I can see why you don’t find it fun. I don’t find it entirely fun, but I hope that they fix it soon.

Given that match making hasn’t changed.

The difference is more likely to be how matches generally flow in 5v5, plus players actions.

Other than making it even easier to group up (they’ve already added potentially unnecessary mechanics to make that easier for people) there isn’t anything more they can really do.

I agree with this, dunno what happened but since wide groups and new season dropped quick play has been miserable. Getting rolled 3 out of 5 games, feels horrid. Think I’ll just AFK for a month and hope whatever caused it gets resolved or disappears.

That has been the case for the entirety of OWToo.

I’ve been playing since 2018, and that happens sometimes. You’re not going to win everything, and you’re not going to loose everything. One day I got on a 20 games win streak in Mystery Hero, the next day I lost 5 in a row. And then I lost some more in quickplay.

If you start playing with this mindset of “I hope I won’t get bullied”, you will be, because it’s supposed to be fun. When I boot up the game I’m not thinking about my losses or wins, I just want to play, I can have fun even if I loose, because no-one wins every single game, every single day. So if you see you’re getting frustrated, stop playing. Because that wasn’t your day.

Sometimes my aim is insane, the next day I feel like my mouse is in slime and I can’t hit anything. Same for game sense, and anything else.

Take a day off the game, don’t play several hours every day. I used to do this, then OW2 came out and it broke my unlimited love for this game, and I started to do something else. Not play another game just time off-screen. I still play very often but I don’t have 4 hours sessions every day, I’d be insane otherwise.

So as Zarya says, Why are you so mad? It’s only a game
