i need help, my overwatch 2 keeps crashing on battle.net and has no error code or anything it just kicks me from the game completely and takes me to the battle.net app with no error code or any notice or anything. i have reinstalled the game used cleanups on my pc, reinstalled my driver, and done a windows update and nothing works! please help

You’re not alone. People tried a lot. Gotta wait for Blizzard to fix it.
In the meantime, at least for me, creating a new Windows user fixes the issue temporarily. But only for one session, so I have to delete + create that user every time I want to play the game. Maybe it works for you as well until Blizzard gets moving.

No, I just search up battle.net in the start menu and Overwatch is installed in there.
The US forums have come up with a better way already. You still have to create a new user, but you can then start Overwatch within your old user with this command in cmd:
runas /user:<YOUR_USER> "C:\Path\To\Overwatch\Overwatch.exe"
I start it once and exit quick so Windows and Blizzard create the user folders (Documents/Overwatch/Settings), then I copy over my settings and run the command again. If you play for a while and exit the game you might have to repeat this all over again, which is why I have the game running since about 8 hours in the background

Even in 2025 it’s still a thing. I am here with the same issue after just coming back to the game. My girlfriend also has the issue. Just randomly closes to the desktop. No error message. Sometimes it plays for like 15 minutes or 1 or 2 games, other times it won’t even make it to the main menu before it closes.
