Activate SMS protect for all accounts, please - this is getting rediculous.
The first few days felt good, but ever since the smurfs figured that their accounts could still be used, the toxicity and the sh*tstorm has started.
Reporting seems to do nothing, as smurfing apparently isn’t disruptive behaviour?!?!?
It’s ruining the game. Please activate the systems you so proudly showed off just before launch.
SMS protect will do literally nothing to stop smurfs.
Having to buy a new copy of OW1 didn’t discourage them and it’s even cheaper (sometimes even free) to get a new SIM card to set up a new account.
It is almost like they know it isn’t actually that much of a problem and just put placebo measures in place to make people think something is being done lol.
Not so cheap since you need have a recurrent phone plan to blizzard accept it, on some countries the phone company require the client to be on the plan for 2 years, fidelity program else they need pay a tax, so lets say the plan is 10€ montly, i don’t think someone would waste 240€ or 120€ (if you break the fidelity) before the end of contract for a smurf.

It will make people have to pay for a proper mobile plan, do the full FTUE and then start playing.
it’s not bulletproof, but what is going on right now is basically just letting them go on as if defence matrix isn’t a thing.
That isn’t going to stop much tbf. That said, the measures they’ve put in are all they need.
Anything else and they are starting to be muppets about it.
And then you can get fake phone number o temp number.
They can’t use online or payphone/prepaid numbers, so no.
