Overwatch and Aim Assist

Is this Aim behaviour normal? Are humans able to aim like this? I found it weird as it is not my first time seeing this kind of Aiming while playing Overwatch and it is becoming increasingly more common.

Looks like aimbot to me, thats mega twitchy

that my friend, is an extremely bad AHK script… or pixelbot one of the more popular type of aimbots on overwatch… and yes… many many many many many people are using them because they are very difficult to detect and ban…

This is getting really annoying and making the game less enjoyable, especially when you are trying to climb the ladder on ranked.

I know from pro tracers that you kinda rapidly shake the mouse, bc of the spread but this looks really not like I’m used to see it… It’s not even close to shaking.

I’d guess some sort of bot like Allmight said. But I never really looked into bots.

Those odd jerks at the beginning look bad. Report.

That’s definitely aimbot. Though not a high quality one.

I see a lot of tracers like this recently.
Also around 0:24 at 0.25 speed, you can see she misses Zayra, the bullets impact the wall behind yet the hit marker says otherwise, that’s probably just blixxards net code though.

It’s normal, some people like to aim that way. They are videos about this aiming and why its good on tracer.

I try’d to find the video but its kinda old so i failed. Its was posted on “your overwatch” channel.

Basically some “Pro’s” Like to have a firm grip on the mouse. They don’t aim by “tracking” or “Flicking” its a mix of little flicks/twitches that help with the aiming and tracking.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-3iixD8Fhs8 not the video i initially wanted to share but it’s like this. “Rapid Twitch Aiming”

This isn’t an aiming technique, it’s bad tracking resolved by flicks. Horrible inconsistent and not something normal.

I’ve seen this before but people who play with this ‘technique’ still keep their aim on the target somewhat. The Tracer in the video didn’t do this which most likely means that his aimbot was of a low quality and couldn’t keep up.

This aim style can be good on spread heroes since the small twich lets the spread reduce a little but yeah its bad on something like Genji, Mccree, Widow on top of the fact that its proven to give majer wrist pain from over use (and for some aiming with the wrist is bad for FPS).

Copypasta:"Another update here since the video is suddenly gaining a bunch of traction and there’s a lot of comments regarding wrist pain. If you wrist aim you’re at risk when using a technique like this. If you arm aim on a lower sensitivity there’s no problem whatsoever as there’s barely any wrist movement involved.

If you’re wondering about wrist/arm aiming and sensitivities in general you can take a look at my other uploads or read the guide I wrote at www.elevateoverwatch.com"

If this is aimbot - there is no value to use it. It looks like very BAAAD twitchy aim.
