So here is my issue:
I quit this game about a year ago because after not sure what happened, the game became unplayable. On top of that, whenever I would try to launch the game, it would actually cause my pc to start malfunctioning. For example, while Overwatch is running, I cannot watch youtube or netflix videos. In fact, I cannot even have a chrome page open.
Recently, I returned to Overwatch, literally today, and the issue has only gotten worse. Simply by being in the lobby, I experience horrible fps crashes and overall freezes. Additionally, while moving my mouse around, if a freeze occurs ,my mouse will jump from one monitor to the next.
I have shut off xbox dvr, deleted the cache, repaired the game files. Changed all my graphics settings to low. Flipped on and off vsync, and my fps limiter. I do not have this issue with any other game I have ever played on my pc. I had this issue when I had a 1060, and now with my 2060, the issue persists.
Today, after spending an hour trying to resolve the issue, I finally decided to give up and go back to Apex, but I could not. Why? When I closed Overwatch down, somehow, I was still stuck in the Overwatch game system. The same mouse icon was being used. I could not click on anything. Also, anything I typed would not show up anywhere on my pc. I checked task manager, and overwatch had in fact closed down. Only way I could resolve the issue was to restart my PC.
Before originally quitting, I spent days trying to resolve the issue, and never could. On top of that, I kept getting hit with multiple leaver penalties in quick play due to the game being unplayable. I would just like to be able to start playing the game again. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game multiple times, and the issue still persists.
