My comp is just starting, and I tab out. I click Overwatch, and get stuck in dekstop. My cursor won’t move from the middle unless I bring up task manager. Clicking on Overwatch makes my cursor stuck and I can’t see Overwatch at all. It’s invisible to me and I’m forced to quit Overwatch and rejoin.
I can’t rejoin fast enough and lose 60 sr and derank Endorsement.
IS there any fix to this problem because this has happend several times.
This is a local problem.
Maybe your graphics card or cpu/ram is too weak to handle the problem or some other programs are interfering with overwatch/directx or any other thing similar.
This can have so many reasons that without knowing at least your hardware stuff helping is hard, except for when this problem is something “known” but I tab out so much and never had a problem.

I can tab out whenever I can this just happens like once a month or two. It super annoying.
(I think the only time this happens is when something forces you to tab out idk)

It sounds like something else is trying to maintain focus when you try to tab back again. In general, we would always suggest to close background applications as much as possible when playing games. If you have to tab out, I’d strongly suggest to disable the overlay options on any of the applications you keep active. It might be worth trying to play in Windowed mode as well, and see if that prevents this from happening again.

This is a problem with discord overlay. Not actually Overwatch. Shut down discord and you will be fine
I am using the overlay permanently and never had any problems with it.
