Overwatch installation missing

Hey,

I’ve installed Overwatch yesterday after quite some time.
Played like 1 hour without any issues but when i tried to get back on some action today i saw the Install button instead of Play.
I’m aware that in rare occasions the bnet app might lose the folder of the game so i looked around to locate it manually, but without any luck.
Also i tried to jumpstart the game from it’s shortcut on my desktop & recent apps tab.
Last i tried to locate the folder based on the shortcut application properties but the folder it was pointing at no longer exists.
For reference it was supposed to be here:
*C:\Program Files (x86)\Battle.net\Battle.net.10949\Overwatch*
Not just Overwatch but the whole Battle.net.10949 folder is missing.

Any clues what might have happened?
I would hate to re-download it only to see this happen again.

Best Regards,
Er3VoS

Greetings Er3VoS,

Overwatch should definitely not be deleting itself. :stuck_out_tongue: The Overwatch folder that contains the actual game is a standalone folder and not a part of the C:\Program Files (x86)\Battle.net folder (unless you’ve adjusted the installation directory during setup). Have you tried using a Windows search to scan your PC for any Overwatch folders?

Then of course, there’s the option that someone was on your PC and uninstalled the game.
