Overwatch PTR Patch Notes – July 3, 2018
A new Overwatch patch is currently in development and now available for testing. To share your feedback or report and issue, please post in the PTR Feedback or PTR Bug Report forums.
Please note that the below patch notes only include changes currently available for testing on the PTR. While many of these changes will also be available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in a future patch, the PTR is PC-only and therefore will only reflect changes coming specifically to that platform.
HERO UPDATES
Sombra
- EMP
- Now disables Wrecking Ball’s Minefield proximity mines for 10 seconds
- Hack
- Can now cancel her reload to use Hack
- Stealth
- Detect radius reduced to 2 meters from 4 meters
- Translocator
- Can now be destroyed with the Interact key without looking at it
- Sound cue heard by enemies dramatically reduced
Wrecking Ball
- Grappling Claw
- Movement speed reduced from 22 meters per second to 20 meters per second
BUG FIXES
Heroes
Tracer
- Fixed a bug that caused the camera to jitter at end of her Blink animation
Wrecking Ball
- Fixed a bug that prevented Wrecking Ball’s Piledriver from generating ultimate charge
- Fixed a bug that allowed Wrecking Ball to use Piledriver whenever there was clearance below him (e.g. standing on a ledge)
