Can anyone please tell me how I can match my windows mouse sensitivity perfectly to Overwatch, in-game? I understand that Overwatch does direct hardware polling, so what would a Windows 6 sensitivity (control panel, mouse properties, pointer options) with 800 DPI equal in Overwatch?
Thanks!
But why would you want to do that its impossible to make it exact because its a 3D game with a 103 field of view the sensitivity is the same when on the main screen or hero select but its not possible to make it exact.
Is this something that could help with my bad aiming or am i just trying to find an excuse for sucking?
Hi,
when I looked for mouse settings, sensitivity etc when I started with OW (my first shooter-like game) only thing that people mentioned regarding settings in Windows is that option “enhance pointer precision” should be “off”.
If you have dedicated software for your mouse you can set whatever DPI you like, in Windows you only have a scale, I’m not sure that each point on scale represent DPI number (6 as you mentioned).
Besides, you use your mouse in Windows for different tasks, maybe it’s not optimal to have same settings for Windows and OW.
I use 800 DPI and 4.5 - 6 sens in game, but in Windows I use 1400 DPI so I don’t have to move my arm so much.
I’m not sure what are you trying to achieve with same settings in both, maybe I did get wrong conclusion from your post.
