OW2 projectiles feel different

For some reason the projectiles in Overwatch 2 feel different to Overwatch 1. I mainly play Zenyatta (~1000 hours) and instantly noticed something being off. The projectile speed is the same and I think it’s the input lag between clicking and the projectile actually spawning. I asked several people since the beta startet again at the 28th and they agree that something is different.

Did something change?

I think it’s an all-round aim thing that feels slightly different.
